About the artist
I bring to my sculpting life-long practices in dance, meditation and gardening. As an older artist, this is a time of integration, of imagining and making with a broad range of creative mediums and the invaluable experience of long hikes in artistic terrain.
There’s great value to be found in showing up for soul-nourishing practices over a substantial arc of life. As with the gardening, the nurturance I give to the creative realm comes full round, leaving bounties behind.

We call the often misty land that enfolds my home and Lumenhorse Studio here on Orcas Island Cloud Garden. The studio is more than a place of making; it is sanctuary in a chaotic world, and a portal to what might be.
I hold a Master of Fine Art (MFA) degree from UMass/Dartmouth.
